Thanks to Governor Brian Kemp and leaders in the Georgia State House of Representatives, Georgia has strengthened efforts to recruit and retain great teachers by providing $10,000 in pay raises and retention bonuses over the last five years, maintaining one of the highest rates of teacher pay in the Southeast.
Our teachers are the backbone of our education pipeline, preparing our students for today’s modern workforce. Georgia is investing your tax dollars in lifting up our educators, keeping our students safe, and setting our children up for success through early learning and interventions.
